About
About the Working Group
The first working group established by EFMI, bringing together teachers, programme directors and researchers in Biomedical and Health Informatics education.
History
Education was the first topic around which EFMI organised a working group. Since then, WG EDU members have taken an active part in writing and updating the International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) Recommendations on Education in Biomedical and Health Informatics (2000, 2010 and 2023).
Together with the EFMI Accreditation and Certification committee (AC2) TO VALIDATE: full name of AC2, the group built a database of BMHI programmes in Europe. This site continues that work as an open database.
